She decided to invest in his film, but he will not get a penny in return. Cameron sold the script for just one dollar. The movie was made with a very small budget of $6.4 million.
After the movie was completed, the cinema suppliers bought it at a lower price because, according to them, it was a flop, but when it was released, it became a huge hit and earned about S80 million. After the success of Terminator 1, James Cameron regained his reputation and even married Gale Anne after that. He became a writer, director, and even producer.
