The boy who ruled the world’s pop industry for almost 40 years, Michael Jackson, was born into a black American Family in Indiana on August 29, 1958. He was 7th of his nine siblings. Michael was not the first in his family to debut in the music industry. His father already had a brand named Jackson 5. It was a very popular band in America between the 60’s and the 70’s. So Michael learned his music from his family and not from any music teacher. He became part of Jackson 5 at a very young age of 5. He used to play the tambourine and Bongos, but he started singing later. He recorded his first song, “Big Boy,” on July 13, when he was 9 years old. Michael Jackson’s life took a major turn after this song; it propelled him to the heights of popularity.
Acting Career and Breakthrough
Not many people know that Michael Jackson was also an actor, and he played the lead role in the film “The Wiz” with his friend Diana Ross. While making this movie, Michael met the well-known musician Quincy Jones, who advised him to record his solo album. Michael Jackson wrote in his biography, while he was on his tours, “I am the loneliest person among a handful in the world”. His married life was a failure. He married Lisa Presley in 1994. She was the daughter of an American singer, Elvis Presley. The couple got divorced within 19 months. In 1997, Michael Jackson got married again, and this time to a nurse, Debbie Rowe. He had a son, Prince Michael, and a daughter, Princess Michael Catherine, from this marriage. But this marriage also ended in divorce within two years. Custody of the children was awarded to Michael.

As Michael reached the peak of popularity, his life was beset by scandals. In the year 1993, he was accused of attempted child abuse. It took Michael to the court. After Initial reports were released, the cause of death was due to heart failure. The American court declared that due to the negligence of Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael died because he did not prescribe the correct quantity of the medicine.
